Date Confirmed - Saturday 14th July, 2:00 - 5:00 pm
The Fair has been an annual event in Tockenham since 1939 and is the village's main fundraising event of the year. The proceeds go towards the maintenance of St Giles Church, Tockenham Village Hall and supporting local charities. This year the Charities nominated for support by the Fair are: The Hop, Skip and Jump Foundation based in Swindon, The Link 6 Scheme and Swindon Food Bank. All of these charities are local and will financially benefit directly from our donation.
Support us through advertising on our new website and in our Fair programme. To those who also donate Raffle, Silent Auction and Stall prizes we ask you to please support them as customers in return; especially in this tough economic climate.
As ever, there are so many people, unfortunately too many to name individually, who are already working tirelessly to make the day a success. Without their hard work the fair couldn’t happen – we thank them.

The Big BreakfastIn appreciation of the huge effort everybody makes on fair day, we will be holding a big breakfast on Sunday 15th at 10am to say a BIG THANK YOU to all those involved! We will be providing bacon and sausage sarnies, tea and coffee and maybe even a Bucks Fizz! All who volunteered, and helped to make our Fair such a success are welcomed. Please put this date in your diaries. |
